Savoy Magazine has recently announced its highly-anticipated list of the 2016 Most Influential Black Corporation Directors which will be published in their 352-page summer issue.
Among those who made it into the list are Lloyd Trotter and Joseph Anderson, two well-known members in the Meritor Board of Directors.
According to Jay Craig who is the current CEO and President of Meritor, the company has always been proud and grateful for everything that Anderson and Trotter have accomplished for the firm.
Anderson has been a member of the company board since 1997 while Trotter joined the board in 2015. Before joining the Meritor board, Trotter has worked for Fortune 500 companies like General Electric, Pepsi, and Daimler.
Craig, CEO of Meritor, also extended his congratulations to both awardees.
He stated that it’s very important to acknowledge the contributions of the two directors to the company. He added that Anderson and Trotter have been instrumental in the company’s growth during the last several years.
With headquarters in Michigan, Meritor is a manufacturing company that specializes in the development and production of automobile components for commercial and industrial markets.
It currently has more than 8,000 employees scattered in its facilities and distribution centers that are located in 19 countries.
