I’m sure most people are not shocked but in all honesty I am. I wasn’t shocked by his response when he was asked if he reached out to the families of our fallen troops because he has some type of unspoken vendetta against our former President. For those who don’t know our current President said Obama didn’t reach out to the families of fallen troops.

But for President Trump to tell a grieving widow, who’s husband was fighting for our country “he knew what he signed up for,” is shocking. His actions usually don’t surprise me because I’m convinced he has to be the dumbest, most out of touch, most insensitive person to walk the Earth.

Sgt. La David Johnson’s widow has a 6 year old, a 2 year old and is currently pregnant with their third child and was just told her husband couldn’t have an open casket.

This is the same man that gave such a passionate exchange about disrespecting the flag that our soldiers fought for yet feels the need to state the obvious in an insensitive manner.

Yes most soldiers “know what they’re signing up for” but none of them want to come home in a casket. None of them want to give the ultimate sacrifice and like the old saying goes, if you don’t know what to say just STFU. Yes he followed up that statement with, but I know it’s hard anyway.

Some say he would have been scrutinized no matter what he said, I beg to differ. He’s nothing like Obama, people searched high and low to find the pettiest things to complain about when Obama was in office. You don’t have to search with Trump, he gives it to you on a platter, day in and day out.
