Maybe no one is paying attention to this MOST CERTAIN aspect of Michael Brown’s killing field–and that of all of the other young Black men who were situationally lynched by the most ill-gotten miscreants of the nation’s past and throughout the world’s history and on to this very day, but they should be.

We should ALL be paying attention to this aspect.

No one should be paying any attention to the cheap shots from the Black Poop Gallery when it comes to the Black community and things that make national news like the death of Michael Brown.

It’s good that it’s getting attention like this, it’s necessary, but Black folk need to be looking into their own hearts right now, and not simply crying out for “Leaders” to act who have no clue how to lead because if they did, this mess would never have become an everyday thing that the whole country has become circumstantially numb about.

The media and social media outcries are doing no good.

For the “newsmakers” and “hit-takers,” all of these photo opps and efforts to roll their history in with those CERTAIN small percentage of Black folk that we don’t pay attention to until all hell breaks loose, it is much too little, way too late.

For the rest of us, it means cleaning house in our judicial systems, PERIOD.

We also should be VERY proud of the example set by some Black men who have taken it upon themselves, once again, to “parent” even the Black youth who are not their natural born children. It’s long overdue and it’s the way we used to be before the need to aspire to whiteness killed our lives and our homes and families.

On the other side of the fence, Black people are well within their rights, OUR rights as American citizens, and as hard-working, long-suffering people who have all they can take and can take no more, to snuff out the candle of vicious demeaning “crap” music, thug life, and to ALSO clean house on every single Police Department and Judicial Circuit that governs Black people in America.

End Game, Baby.

You can be “bout dat life,” but the consequences are your own to bear.

Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. – 2 Corinthians 6:17

The Time & What Must Be Done, Part 39

LUKE 21:29

He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”*
