The Christian Pentecostal Evangelical “powers” of the former and now-deceased Ronald Wilson Reagan White House Administration, the folks who usurped power and authority not accorded to them by the United States Constitution, right behind their predecessors Richard M. Nixon and George W. Bush, are at it again.
I think the entire nation is entirely tired of them and their kind by now; and it’s long overdue that we are tired, but what do we do about it now?
President Barack H. Obama (Jr.) has been in office nearly six years…and right now, to all appearances deceived and insightful, foreign and domestic, he is on “cruise control.”
I don’t blame him. He should be. I would be.
Two possible reasons from the smaller perches downwind: (a) The people who elected him to office did not do their job in the mid-terms of 2010, and did not take care to remove Bush’s cronies from the United States Congress. That left him to nearly single-handedly take on some very personal fights about his race and ethnicity when we had an entire country to set straight again after George W. Bush’s unmitigated damage; and (b) Now that he’s down to the last two years in office, give or take a few months, he very obviously cannot win with John Boehner and his localized Palinites in command, and others amongst them who have racially sabotaged him since Day One.
Fact is, those of us who allowed Congress to oppose and defeat him through his own personal and race-driven sabotage at every turn, put our duly-elected President in a precarious position. He’s apparently unwilling to constantly have to address their mental health problems, or to fight with them any more, and who can blame him for that?
I wouldn’t do it either.
The bottom line is this: If the American people do not care about their own country and their own futures enough to move these mountains on the local levels, why should he?
Pray all you want, on bended knee bow down and cry and implore, but God Almighty (the real one, not the white one) will stand by and let us go through the repercussions of our own choices, whether we act wrongly, rightly, willfully, or not at all. This is not what Obama SAID he wanted, but this is what WE allowed to happen for the past 150 years since the inception of the GOP…and counting.
This is the “power of negative thinking,” and it’s coming out of the PORES of the very people who go into mega-churches and white racist churches on other levels and espouse the theories of “Live Your Best Life Ever” by Joel Osteen and other motivational evangelical con artists like him; and those of Zig (Mr. “We want prospects, not suspects…”) Ziglar; however, they have demonstrated time and again that their “white Jesuses” and their “white Santa Clauses” certainly did not mean to include any of us so-called “Niggers”.
Not when it comes down to their personal control issues and overt god-complexes, and not when it comes down to what they think about the way everyone else should have to live their lives under that school of thought. What they think we should all be subjected to is their Roman Catholic Niceaen Council and creedish attitudes about the “white Jesus” that only cares about white-skinned people with boatloads of money, even when we know what BOAT they took it from.
That said, I’ll repeat what I said in January of 2009 in my book “The United States of Georgia.”
When Barack Obama took his seat in the Oval Office and told his assistant “We’ve got work to do,” the real fight was just beginning and from my small perch in Georgia, I said the same thing to my own constituents without ever knowing what he was doing in the first few hours.
I understood the complete political process and the fact that with Bush’s tadpoles and cockroaches still hanging out screaming bloody murder just because he GOT elected, all hayell was just breaking loose as soon as he sat down and dared to assert his authority as President.
Most of us are very familiar with those attitudes and should have been prepared for it. After imploring people to get ready for mid-terms and to remove Bush’s cronies, the response I got was “HE shouldn’t have it easy.”
I repeat again as in 2009: IT WAS NEVER ABOUT HIM.
It was supposed to be about WHY WE ELECTED HIM.
People made this isht personal instead of about America’s future; and because of that, we got what we got. So be it.
I vividly recall saying in 2009 that when he leaves office, be it four years or eight, he and his family are going to be FINE.
The American people, on the other hand, are going to be stuck with whatever we allow to happen during this racially volatile period in this nation’s history.
It was more than obvious that the “Yes We Can” Obama Party Train pulled out in 2009 with a history-making event, plenty of tears and back-slapping and hand-shaking and hugging; but nothing with any real substance that would have given him the leverage that we/”he” needed to make things right again. In other words, we get what we ask for when we do NOT vote on the local levels.
Come January of 2017, impeachment or no impeachment, Obama’s out of office.
He and his wife and children, so it has been rumored, are headed to Hawaii to live. They will build a new home there and possibly build his Presidential Library there; and that, as they say, is “all she wrote.”
For those of us who think this very obvious “race-sabotage”¹ of President Obama is painful to watch, it gets worse. The reality is that the American people have no one to blame for this malfeasance in the White House except ourselves. We knew they were going to do it, and we sat down and let it happen. It no longer matters that the GOP says things like “It has nothing to do with his race or color, we just don’t like his policies or politics,” because it’s highly apparent that that is a cover-up bullshit lie. Period.
In the final analysis, we who elected him in 2008 did not ‘show up and show out’ in 2010 during mid-terms and the handing over of Congressional Gauntlet to the Elected. The hardest lesson to be gotten from this is that waiting every four years for a National Election isn’t ever going to work out for us.
True enough, we’ve had to rely on the Federal Government when “state’s rights” let us down and put us down, but we are the only ones who had the power to let them know that we’re not kissing their corporate asses just because they insist on flying the Confederate Flag and waving ‘gunzes’n’godzes’ all over the place and telling us what they’re going to do to us if we don’t bow down and obey their white skin and nasty attitudes.
Our parents fought their kind back and did a lot more with a LOT less than we have now.
We did not send them a strong enough message in 2010 that America is tired of racist and intolerant people who think it’s all about THEM, and the hell with the rest of us.
It is the groundwork on the local levels that lays the basis for our nationally elected officers. These political machines not only decide who is in the ‘mysterious’ Electoral College, but also decides who ends up being vetted for President of the United States. There is no way people can even pretend that they can’t stop them from getting off the ground floor, let alone allowing that kind of racist stink to permeate the fabric and fiber of a nation that our forefathers built even when they had no legal rights to access it.
At the point that we did not vote Bush’s cronies out of Congress in 2010 and allowed The Tea Party in (by not voting — and it was reported that less than 10-percent of the “Obama ’08 turnout” turned out in the mid-terms), the mode and methods and precedents were set for the next four years.
Their only objective, and they accomplished it, was to block and tackle him until they could get him out of office.
By all accounts seen and unseen, they are now moving in for The Final Kill by screaming impeachment, so those of you who got your little churched-out feelings hurt when Obama went to massaging the gay and Latino community can hold down the indignation. There was a bigger picture and everyone else moved on even after we got stuck on complete stupid behind it.
We were the only ones who could end it, but now it appears that all we’re doing is waiting on 2017, and the preferred method of objective racism that we’ve been subjected to for more than 500 years in the Weird Weird West.
In essence, that means that the only thing we can do now is HOPE that people “get it” this mid-term election and CHANGE things by removing Boehner and his “power of negative thinking” friends in November (2014, not 2018…), or it won’t matter what we think about President Obama allegedly being so “weak.” He’s in Lame Duck status until 2017. (Yes, he is…)
Boehner, Palin and all of those other Republican Racist Asses that we keep kissing up to by not voting will see to that.
If that’s what we give Obama in Congress, then he can only assume that’s what we want and obey it.
If President Obama has taught us nothing else (…and he’s taught us PLENTY…), it is that our VOTES indeed DO count, especially on the local levels where we elect our Congressmembers (in the House and Senate); and our Governors and Mayors, and even our friggin’ Judges and School Boards.
If we do NOT vote, then the lives of our forefathers and ancestors and even that of a white woman by the name of Viola Liuzzo, Michigan resident and late of Selma, Alabama, have been TOTALLY laid to waste.
They put their lives on the line and many of them died to gain this right for us, because they KNEW how important it was.
But “we”: (the corporate we), threw their legacy in the trash can and call them ALL a bunch of Niggers, Liuzzo included. We were supposed to OVERCOME, not be outdone.
Fool us once, shame on them.
Fool us twice, shame on us.²

ROCK THE VOTE : YOU are the only one who can settle this matter of racism and disrespect of our President once and for all. YOU are the only one who can tell them that they are not running this United States of America in which YOU are a rightful citizen not one more day.
