Fox’s biggest name Bill O’Reilly is out after claims of him sexually abusing female staff for years surfaced and now a racial discrimination lawsuit is gather steam as a string of staffers join.
Allegations that former staffer comptroller Judith Slater said racist things her staff caused some problems for Fox but now that is growing as seven others are expected to join the racial discrimination lawsuit.
The Grio reported:
The employees are black and they claim she did more than lob insults at them, she actually pitted employees against each other both literally and figuratively. They claim that Slater forced black employees to arm wrestle their white peers.
“Forcing a black woman employee to ‘fight’ for the amusement and pleasure of her white superiors is horrifying,” according to lawyers on behalf of the seven defendants.
The letter from the lawyers stated that the competitions were humiliating, offensive and “reminiscent of Jim Crow era battle royals.”
The suit also names Fox News accounting director Tammy Efinger as complicit in the racism.
“Not once did Ms. Efinger step in or attempt to interfere with Ms.
Slater’s outrageous conduct,” according to documents.
Efinger instead “chose to laugh or giggle following Ms. Slater’s vitriol.”
Slater was fired on March 24th, there are claims she was not fired earlier because she knew too much about Roger Ailes who was forced to resign after sexual harassment claims in 2016!
