Super Tuesday wasn’t exatly super for everyone. On the Republican side of things Trump pretty much cleaned up and left some of the other candidates a bit bewildered.

Retire neurosurgeon Ben Carson was one of those. Although there seems to be a strong like for him within the party many voters didn’t didn’t see him as a strong contender to the Dems and of the 15 GOP voted states he has failed to come in either first or second.

Basically his campaign has no legs and he knows it. Although he had initially said that he would continue his campaign all the while “the Lord keeps opening doors” he finally made the statement “I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results,”

For most people this seems like the end of his campaign, and let’s face it, it effectively is although he has said that he is simply refocusing on constitutional principles and moving into the next phase.

So that means he bailed on the upcoming Detroit Debate. One less face to fight the growing Trump Mass!
