A super cool video was posted on Facebook by Jenabu Williams showing his 6-year-old’s new daily pledge to help him stay focused and to to hold him accountable for his actions during the school day!

In the Video little Joshua talks of how he is going to school to learn, to be empowered by his teachers, so he can go to college and be the leader go wants him to be. He talks about thinking, confronting problems, conflicts, ignoring negative influences and more.

The video starts with Jenabu leading the pledge but it’s not long before little Joshua takes charge and shows he means business with his pledge. He ends the pledge “Peace”.

This strong little man is setting an example for African American boys by showing total willingness to be confident, empowered and strong in the face of his daily challenges!

We need boys like this to push things forward!
