Octavia Spencer is gaining so much respect and her latest move is an awesome ode to her direction and commitment to the community. She bought out an entire theater in Los Angeles (Rave Baldwin Hills theater) for a showing of Hidden Figures so that low-income families would be able to see the film.

Spencer posted to Instagram:

“My mom would not have been able to afford to take me and my siblings. So, I’m honoring her and all single parents this #mlkweekend,”

“If you know a family in need that would like to see our movie but can’t afford it have them come,”

“It’s first come first served.”
