When Will Smith, one of the best actors in the world appeared on The Tonight Show, he was able to give his view concerning the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.

Will Smith had appeared on The Tonight Show so as to try and promote the much anticipated Suicide Squad film which will be available in theaters from August 5. He was also able to vividly describe his views on race relations in the United States of America.

He also said that due to his experience in engaging in many marriage counsels , he is able to find a solution when people don’t get along. He went on to add that racism is not getting worse, it is actually being filmed nowadays.

“Hearing people say the race relations are worse than they’ve ever been, it doesn’t feel like that, to me,” Smith said. “Racism isn’t getting worse, it’s getting filmed.”

Will smith was able to tell Fallon that just like in marriage counselling, when the truth is revealed to everyone, there is a very dark time before dawn.

“When you’re just looking at your partner like, ‘Oh my god, that’s what you think?’”

“But there’s a dark before the dawn,” the actor added. “When everything gets out, it’s a good thing. It just sucks bad when the truth is out. But I think everybody can see it now. And I think it’s just a little darkness before the cleansing that we’ll have as we move forward.”

The actor has never outspoken or expressed his views on political or social issues during his 20 years as an actor. This probably changed when his wife , Pinkett-Smith refused to go to the Oscar Awards and instead wished his friend Chris Rock good luck.

This also resulted in Will smith boycotting the Oscar Awards. Now the question that remains is whether it is true that racism is not getting worse, its actually being filmed today.
