We love to play devil’s advocate here at Urban Intellectuals, so let’s take a look at another traffic stop that goes dramatically different than that of Sandra Bland and Sam DuBose.

This white woman has to be on some sort of drugs to act this way. However, police take a drastically different approach to her instead of pulling their service weapon and shooting her or choking her out.

They simply do their job to subdue the suspect without violence despite her actions.

In Arkansas, a white woman led the police on a high speed chase in her car and eventually crashes. The officers subdue the woman, put her in hand cuffs and place her in the back of the police car.

The police hear banging from the car, so they open the door and she head butts an officer. They wrestle her down, then put her in shackles, leg restraints, arms behind back and put her in the police car. Still no excessive force despite her disrespectful attitude.

They leave the police car running, so she doesn’t overheat as they go search the woman’s car. She somehow gets her arms from behind her back, crawls through the divider and steals the police car leading them on a second high speed chase.

This time, she flips the car over after the crash.

When police arrive at this new scene, the woman is in the car trying to grab the police rifle in the car. She still isn’t shot.

But you want us to believe this is post racial America when we already know a black male or female would have been shot after the first high speed chase.
