White Racism Vs. Black Racism: The Difference White People Need To Understand

by | Oct 25, 2015 | Culture | 0 comments

For the past decade or so, white people have yelled reverse racism in certain situations. But I don’t think white people understand what racism or the fact that they created it. After I break down the effects of racism and you watch how Dr. Joy DeGruy Leary break it down, maybe you will then understand how racism isn’t going anywhere fast.

Racism is bigger than not like someone based on their culture or color of their skin. The true foundation of racism is POWER. This is what white people don’t understand. White racists have the power to deny housing, job opportunities, political advancements, healthcare, and much more. Their “racism” has a true impact on black people. Their racism had the power to create slavery, segregated schools, segregated restaurants, segregated communities, and segregated churches. Their racism affect black economics.

However, when white people claim reverse racism, what power do we have to affect their lives? Can we prevent them from getting a good education, a good job, or a decent neighborhood to live in? The answer is no because we don’t have that power. Check out what Dr. Joy Degruy Leary has to say about this.
