Noel Christner Kuebler Jr., 52 year-old white male, was in a mobile home complex with a shotgun threatening to shot someone. Three patrol cars responded to the disturbance call where they saw Kuebler hiding behind a bush with his shotgun in hand. Kuebler fired two rounds at the officers. Although the officer were not directly struck by the shots, the buckshot from the blast struck two of the officers in the face, shoulders, and hands.
Despite firing shots at the officers and injuring two of them, Kuebler was apprehended without incident. The officers never returned fire.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s office charged the 52-year-old from Arnold, Missouri with three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, three counts of armed criminal action and one count of felony resisting arrest. He is being held on a $750,000 cash-only bond.
