Radio Host D.L. Hughly said on his show this week that Obama was just an intermission and given America’s history the election of Donald Trump was hardly surprising.

He reeled off racist quotes from past presidents and not just Republicans, many including Truman and Johnson.

He went onto say:

“I think America is used to people like Trump,”

“See, we thought Barack Obama changed America. Barack Obama was the intermission… For eight years we got, ‘Oh wow, things are moving along!’ You can go get drinks, you can go use the bathroom, and you can look over your play bills… Donald Trump is the show going on as usual.”

He said that people were lulled into a false idea that race relations had changed, he said that it’s like someone came out on stage and said “Welcome back, n*ggers!”.

I wish he was speaking truth but it makes more sense than I wish it would!
