Watermelon… Beyond Stereotypes… Beyond Fitness.

Hello again UI. I am going to stray away from my normal tirades about politics and black culture being exploited. I want to talk about health and fitness. There is a concern in the community for health and just being well enough. However there is a small population of us who strive for physical perfection. We live at the gym and have become absolute nerds about the process of obtaining a perfect body. This one is for you, and maybe others who are looking to join the supreme physical fitness lifestyle. Over the years we have been stereotyped for eating watermelon.

Rind1“Ni$$rs eat Watermelon and fried chicken all the time.” Is what we are used to hearing. I know like some of us we have turned a cold shoulder to the sweet and juicy fruit that we have associated with well… “Being a ni**er”. I must admit that I have done this at times and am not proud of it. However after doing a lot of research, and living the weight lifter life, I have discovered something almost magical. Watermelon is secretly a super fruit. Yes the thing we have been stereotyped for and one of my favorite summer treats is actually something that is a fountain of nutrition. It’s funny but if the stereotype of long ago is true, then it actually explains, why black men throughout American history have been more virile, bigger, stronger, and faster than people of other races.

Now this seems like a horrible stereotype within itself, but not so. The actual fruit itself contains simple sugars that can easily be digested and turned into energy, and aid in muscle repair/building. There are also many vitamins that help skin elasticity, which also explains our age defiance. Now here’s the really good part. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of it all… The rind. Watermelon rind is the best thing anyone who is wanting to body build, keep a healthy sex drive, or increase testosterone levels due to “Low T”, could put into their body. Watermelon rind has a powerful nutrient called Citrulline Malate. It has been proven to increase libido in both men and women, testosterone levels in men, and a plethora of other benefits. Body builders have kept this secret for many years. I was a former running back t a well known college here in Texas, and was in phenom style shape 250lbs and ran a 4.49 40 yard dash to be accurate. They don’t tell you that when you are done, the health problems start. After battling type 1 diabetes, low vision, and a highly infected gall bladder, I was able to start working out again.

It was rough, and I could barely complete the workouts for myself. I read a book that Joe Weider had written, and he mentioned the use of blending watermelon rind into shakes. I thought it was crazy, until I researched the science behind it. After I discovered the light, I quickly made the rind a part of my smoothie life. Within the first week I had an increase in energy to that of my days playing ball, erections were simply insane, and when I went to the doctor my testosterone levels were of near steroid proportions. If you are looking for a “natural” steroid, Viagra, or something to help you balance your hormone levels… Watermelon, and watermelon rind is the answer. I am proud to say that I am almost fully recovered and almost pack to my same build and body fat percentage as when I was in college. So let them say what they will because you are black, or Hispanic, and eating watermelon and watermelon rind. Just know while they spend big money on Roids, Viagra, and hormone therapy…

You just paid 2-3 dollars for all of it naturally with zero side effects. Most of the supplements you see in stores contain those same nutrients in the rind. Look on the back of that 80 dollar pill bottle and look and see how much of that is watermelon rind. All these advertisements like “Testogen” and “How to get a six pack quickly” ads you see on the sides of your favorite websites contain watermelon rind and in most is the active ingredient. At this point it would be very “UN-intellectual” to purchase these products knowing that you can take in the primary ingredient, without all the diluted crap. So intellectuals… Ready to get bigger, stronger, more beautiful, and healthier? What are your thoughts?
