BYSTANDER VIDEO OF SANDRA BLAND’S ARREST
Fortunately, video of the arrest was taken and uploaded to video by someone.
At the beginning of the video, you can see the officers have slammed Bland to the ground and are on top of her. She is talking most of the time and sounds like she is in disbelief of this situation.
You can’t understand most of what is being said, but she can be heard yelling.
“You slammed my head to the ground. Do you even care about that?”
At the end of the video, you can hear Bland speaking out to the person recording:
“For a traffic Signal. Thank you for recording. Thank you. For a traffic signal. Slammed me to the ground and everything.”
