Today in American news the Trump affect is spreading faster than a wild fire.

To see the affect of what adults teach in there households now trickling into the school is not just alarming but offensive. At Royal Oak Middle School in Royal Oak, Michigan during lunch children began to chant “build the wall” leaving Latino students in shock and bringing some to tears.

Due to tolerance of disrespectful and bigoted behavior acts of hate are happening throughout the United States. And it is only trendy and acceptable because the hatred is simply emulated from the country’s future leader.

The scary part is that this is not just a chant. According to Trump’s first 100 day plan at the top of his list of priorities is actually building wall that will run across the border of Mexico leading into the United States. He is also planning on passing a law to make it legal for cops to stop Mexicans and ask them to prove citizenship because of their race and skin color. Trump is moving forward with plans to racism and discrimination legal.

We would prefer to shield our children these types of experiences but at this point it is almost impossible. Let’s talk to our children and mentally prepare them for the worst.
