UIMD: The One and Only Way to Fight Racism

UI Meme of the Day, a daily series…

After generations and multitudes of fraudulent lies told to us about The Black Panther Party, we have come to the knowledge and understanding that Black Americans have been consistently terrorized for more than 500 years.

As a result of that terrorist activity beginning with J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI, many Black organizations and groups were tracked, watched, traced, racially harassed, bombarded, and attacked — the vast majority of them for no other reason than white paranoia and fearmongering.

The Black Panthers, a totally different group of upstanding men and women who were far removed from the Ku Klux Klan, were portrayed in the public eye as if they were a “Black KKK” when nothing could have been farther from the truth. They had never made an attempt to “overthrow” the US Government, but to protect their own people and neighborhoods from being racially terrorized and murdered. They had most assuredly not sent bombs in to white neighborhoods as had been done to Black Wall Street in Tulsa, OK; or ran into white neighborhoods with pointy-headed hats on and carrying guns to threaten whites and keep them in their “place.” They had only sought to protect and nurture what belonged to them in their own neighborhoods.

Like the Nation of Islam being listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website as a “terrorist” organization when they have never been known for anything besides the education and uplifting of Black people, the Black Panthers took hits from a very racist America and its henchmen about who they were and what they were really doing.

The Panthers were for nothing more than the uplifting, empowerment and protection of the Black community and had never done any of the things they were accused of; but acted as they did only in the interests of protecting their own people and neighborhoods.

Once again…anyone or any entity that attempts to help Black America see a brighter day is destroyed. Ultimately, it was a Black man by the name of Darthard Perry who helped the FBI “take down” the BPP.

There is only one thing left to do: Rebuild what was stolen and taken away from us, and make damned sure they don’t ever infiltrate or dictate what happens in our neighborhoods ever again.
