Have you heard of the Dogon tribe of Mali? Anyone who has not should stop and learn about them now!

It’s not surprising that knowledge from many many generations ago surpasses our own but the Dogon tribe have a level of astronomical knowledge that still baffles astronomy today!

The Dogon tribe worships one god, Amma, that they believe came from the star Sirius B. The god came from this star in a vessel, that the Dogon mythology describes in pretty decent detail.

This god comes from the same star as the ancient Egyptian’s god Osirus.

So, what’s so amazing? Well… The star is so far from Earth, so far that the naked eye cannot see it!

A standard telescope cannot even see it. Modern science backed up the Dogon’s mythology as to the location of the star.
