Uber For Kids Flourishing In Detroit As Black Owned Business Fuels A Resurgence

by | Dec 19, 2015 | Business | 0 comments

A Detroit based entrepreneur has launched a great new business to help parents transport their kids in a safe, cool and affordable way.

Aireal Taylor, has founded Kidz Cab. This “Uber” for kids transport kids from 4-16 for busy parents.

They take their clients to places like school, extracurricular activities, sports and whatever the parent needs.

Safety is paramount so the cars have drivers with federal background checks, identity verification and random drug and alcohol screening are carried out.

The cars can be tracked in real time and parents are informed when kids safely reach their destination.

Aireal came up with her unique idea while doing a marketing assignment at college.

The business is going amazingly well and bookings are flying in! Hopefully Aireal will soon expand.

Kidz Cab is just one of many black owned businesses in Detroit that’s building the city back up again and creating a real grass roots feel.
