The R&B singer Tyrese is paying forward his recent album’s success by giving the gift of education.

The rising cost of a quality college education in America scares most parents and students to death. Tuition alone rises a good 5 to 7 percent a year and there seems to be no end in sight. However, college provides great opportunity for young people to get a quality education and rise out of poverty.

The beneficiary of Tyrese generousity is Lorenzo “Zo the Motivator” Murphy. He is from Compton, California, but is very popular on the photo sharing site, Instagram. He is Instagram Famous as the kids say.

Zo the Motivator’s popularity eventually put him in touch with Tyrese, who took a liking to the young man and obviously thinks a lot of him. Tyrese desided to fund his college education to Morehouse.

Costing from $45,000 to $50,000 a year, Tyrese is making a serious investment in the young man’s education….but he seems overjoyed and grateful someone believes in him this much.

Naturually, Lorenzo took to Instagram to show his appreciation.

As of today I begin my journey as a Man of Morehouse. I am beyond grateful and thankful to be apart of such great legacy. None of this would be possible without God, @tyrese, the support from my family and of course, my relentless hard work. Annually, Morehouse is around 45k-50k and as you can imagine, that is a lot of money. I thank God for placing @tyrese in my life. It is because of him believing in me and investing in my future, that I am able to receive my education. I am amongst the worlds greatest leaders and I want to thank @tyrese for giving me the opportunity to be pursue my academic and career endeavors at Morehouse College. #zothemotivator #comptontomorehouse

Tyrese shared some advise to the teen via text message. He posted them in a replay on his Instagram account.
