On Feb 14th 2015 this little dude was put with his third foster family. Tara Montgomery and her two daughters welcomed young Michael into their home, the adorable 18month year old quickly became a part of their family although the original plan was to reunited him with his biological mother.
That fell through and although she was not looking to adopt Michael changed her mind.
“As a single parent, I was not looking to adopt, just to help kids during transition,… But that changed with Michael. It felt like he was a part of our family right from the start.”
After 832 days in foster care the adoption was finally official. Michael had a new family starting on December 20th 2016.
His official new Mom and sisters posted some images to the internet to celebrate and they went viral!

“He wakes in the morning and says, ‘Mom, I so happy,’” Montgomery said, And;
“If this can inspire just one person to make a difference in the life of a child, we are happy.”
