Let’s not sugar coat this one bit. These white men are making terrorist threats to the black community and should be treated as potential hostile suspects. With the history of white on black crime here in America, a lackadaisical approach to this is unacceptable.
Fortunately, that’s not the case.
The first to get caught and arrested for their anonymous threat against black students and falculty on the University of Missouri’s campus was 19 year old Hunter Park.
Park is suspected of “making terrorist threats” in the following days of black Missouri students leading protest, disengaging from the football team demanding the President steps down and their list of demands are met. Tension on the campus has been thick as white students apparently don’t like their privilege threatened in some manner.
Via Yik Yak, Park said, “I’m going to stand my ground tomorrow and shoot every black person I see.”
“Park was contacted in Rolla, Mo. by the University of Missouri Police and transported to the University of Missouri Police Department in Columbia where he was arrested and processed,” police said in a statement. Rolla is about 100 miles southeast of Columbia.
The Second Terrorist making death threats
The second terrorist making threats against black lives was Connor B. Stottlemyre, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Northwest Missouri State University freshman Connor B. Stottlemyre was taken to jail on suspicion of making a terrorist threat after in connection to a post stating, “I’m gonna shoot any black people tomorrow, so be ready.”
We will be following these stories and more regarding the fallout around the racist culture at the University of Missouri.
