Not long after delivering a Black Lives Matter speech in Seattle, Jesse Hagopain was pepper sprayed by a police officer for no reason.

We understand there is a segment of the population that believes a police officer would never do such a thing, but the rest of us live in reality and know these sort of things happen everyday….typically, they are not caught on film.

Jesse Hagopain is a high school history teacher and activist in the Seattle area. Last month, he filed a claim against the city alleging he was unlawfully pepper-sprayed earlier in the month at a Martin Luther King rally.

The footage below shows Hagopian walking and talking on his cell phone in the South Lake Union area on January 19th. Suddenly, an officer casually raises her pepper spray canister and unleashes it on Hagopian and a group of other peaceful demonstrators in the area.

According to Hagopian’s lawyer, his client had just delivered a Black Lives Matter speech at a rally.
