T.I. Makes It Rain At Walmart on Christmas Eve Paying the Bill for Hundreds of Single Moms

Say what you will about the modern rap culture, but don’t apply negative labels to everyone in the industry. Rapper, entertainer, television star and philanthropist, T.I., makes an undeniable statement that this negative stereotype doesn’t apply to him.

The Atlanta based superstar made his presence known at a local Walmart on Christmas eve. He decided to play secret Santa to as many single mothers he could find in the store by making generosity felt during the holiday season. He walked around the store meeting single mothers and pulling all their goods to the cash registers and paying for their purchases.

At one point, there weren’t enough employees around to carry something for one of the women, so T.I. helped the walmart worker pick up the box himself and carry it to the front. This shows that he doesn’t think so much of himself that he isn’t willing to jump in and get his hands dirty doing a little work and bringing a smile to some people in the process.

The video is very inspiring, but shouldn’t come as a total surprise. A few years back, T.I. made a conscious decision to change his reputation in the industry, clean it up and be more positive. Call the growing family, the fact he would have his own reality show, or personal growth as a man, but the record industry and studio didn’t like it one bit.

No worries because TIP has shown he isn’t a slave to the industry and more interested in being a blessing to his people and community. Thus the change in image will reflect positively on the children and generosity displayed in this video will bless the families he touched, but inspire the children for years to come.

Peace and blessings, T.I!
