T.I Says if You’re Being Oppressed, “You realizing your being oppressed is not something their going to welcome with open arms” at Town Hall Meeting

T.I is turning his image on it’s head and rising fast as a conscious activist for the community, hell bent on making change and speaking up about social and racial injustice.

His video for the song War zone made a big statement about police violence when it swapped the roles of whites and blacks, his new E.P. ‘US Or Else’ is a politically charged work with a strong and clear message.

T.I seems genuine in his efforts and his backlash against an image that was pushed by the industry.

You may have missed it but on October 14th he held his pre-election town hall. The eventbrite details of the event read as follows:

In partnership with Color Of Change PAC, the town hall will focus on how voters can affect change through local elections, the story behind his politically-charged EP Us or Else, and how artists and fans can use their platforms to speak out about injustices.
