Scandal’s Kerry Washington Is Pissed About High School Abuse

Washington tweeted her reaction Tuesday morning using the hashtag #AssaultAtSpringValleyHigh.

“Scandal” actress Kerry Washington, an outspoken advocate for domestic abuse survivors, is one of the many people who has spoken out about the horrifying video released Monday which shows a South Carolina school officer grabbing a student from her chair, knocking her to the floor and dragging her across the classroom.

I’m sure that most can agree that the aggression shown in the video was definitely extreme. There is no reason that a man should be handling any student who is non-aggressive like that. However, a man should not be handling a student that is a girl like that. I makes absolutely no sense. Seeing stuff like this lets me know that some police are heartless and are just waiting for an opportunity to use their training to hurt someone.

I truly hope that more celebrities like Kerry Washington step up and let their voices be heard. But honestly, it is time for our community to take action against these filthy animals. It is obvious that if we do not take action, they will continue to do these type of acts regardless of how many times we post it on social media or how many times we march on Washington D.C. They really don’t give a damn.
