Ever since this man fooled me with his on point American accent back in the Wire he has been on my radar, this man, actually from my neck of the woods (yes, a Londoner (UK), like me originally!) and with Sierra Leone heritage, seemingly can do no wrong.

Elegant, classy, educated and intelligent with weighted and meaningful words. He cuts a tall strong figure and a has ladies (and dudes) blushing with his sheer natural charm.

But Idris is more than just a charmer, watching him joke around with kids asking for dating advice is pure joy, knowing he is a very very fine actor, successful DJ and music producer it’s surprising to see a man well into his 40s with all the comforts in the world pushing even more limits. He could just sit back and take on a few acting jobs a year, enjoying the spoils of his hard work.

Idris wasn’t given the James Bond job and so damn what? He just went ahead and lived it instead! In both the shows No Limits and Fighter we see a man, who should be too old for this sh*t, just push and push and push. All with honesty and reflection.

He pushes the speed limits, learns to kick box, tries to break speed records (and in 2015 he actually broke the British land speed record in a Bentley) and he took on a real kick boxer.

All with humility and respect.

This is a Renaissance Man, a role model, not only for Black youth, for all youth! Hell I want to be Idris when I grow up and I am already supposed to be a man.
