The 53-year-old host and fellow anchors Lara Spencer, Amy Robach, and George Stephanopoulos happily shared stories and snaps from their holiday vacations. Roberts was smiling with excitement as she detailed her time off, which started with a trip to Turks and Caicos, then a jetset to Ogunquit, Maine, and lastly down to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for her niece’s wedding.
Roberts shared a family photo from her niece’s wedding, where she explained who was on-tap for the joyous occasion: “Next to me is my girlfriend, Amber, and my sister-in-law, Cynthia, and my brother, Butch. And it was a glorious, glorious time that weekend.”
This question was posted to me by a friend of mine and I thought it was interesting, so I figured I would stir the pot and pose it to you. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like some Robin Roberts every since she pioneered women on Sports Center back in the day. Even when she made the move over to Good Morning America, I still watched as my wife wakes up each more and starts the day with GMA.
Nevertheless, my friend raised a very interesting question.
He mentioned some black women are regularly pissed off when they find a successful black man dating or marrying a white woman. You can find examples throughout time it seems as interracial dating has become more and more popular or at least shown in the mainstream, but he is right, you can find black women that are upset over this.
Who cares?
