Yes, Meek Mill may have lost a rap battle to Drake. However, Meek Mill may be one of the most conscious rappers that is rapping today. He has made a decision to not glorify drugs, murder, money, and guns in his music going forward. And recently, he has decided to speak on how stupid black celebrities sound when they say “All Lives Matter”.

I’m with Meek Mill on this one. Drugs did find there way in ALL neighborhoods, just the Black ones. Guns don’t find themselves in ALL neighborhoods, just the Black ones. Yet when people want to have some black pride, white people, hell, even some black people lose their minds.

To no avail, we have to love us and not worry about what anyone else thinks. The hell with them. We don’t need their acceptance, their approval, their love, or any of that sh*t. All we need is US!
