There are moments when small gestures make big waves and an innocent wedding photo from 27 year-old Nakyia Whitty of Houston, Texas, may have just done that.

Nakyia married her boyfriend of Javonte Davis in a awesome beach wedding. They had been seeing each others for four years before the big day!

Like any blushing bride she wanted to share her big day and one photo in particular went crazily viral, and for very very good reason.

She is standing on the beach, long dresses, her and six bridesmaids. The dresses are beautiful traditional white dresses but the hair! This is positive for the black community. 7 strong natural haired women, standing up to all the haters.
