Thursday night in Dallas, five police officers were killed in a sniper attack. Seven other officers and two civilians were injured. Friday morning, the National Rifle Association was quick to issue a statement expressing “deep anguish” on behalf of its members. However, when Philando Castile was murdered, they didn’t even mention his name. They hide behind the fact that the investigation had not concluded.
I’m willing to bet any type of money had a black man murdered a card carrying NRA member who was innocent of any wrong doing, they would jump all over the opportunity to be in the media. To no avail, many of their members are outraged that they are not defending Philando Castile. See below.
