Marvel have been seeming to make huge steps to diversify it’s heros and villains through the introduction of characters from almost every walk of life and settings of every kind.

However, they have never had a black female writer before….. until now!

Roxanne Gay is a busy lady but she has been offered a chance at working on a Marvel story she couldn’t refuse and will be teaming up with Ta-Nehisi Coates. They will be writing a separate story in Marvel’s current Black Panther series.

As for her own projects, she is currently writing a collection of Short Stories called Difficult Women. She’s written a bunch of novels, including ‘An Untamed State’ which is being adapted into a movie slated for 2017 release.
