Many of our people are lost or confused as to what happened to our connection to our history. There are several things that have happened to us, but chief among them was slavery. Anyone who doubts this is either ignorant of history or refuse to acknowledge the truth to support their ulterior motives.

Take a moment to listen to Malcolm X as he breaks down the truth about what happened to us and our disconnection with our history. This disconnection, misinterpretation and propaganda continues today.

It is going to take a massive shake up of our psyche to get out of this funk we find ourselves, but there are some powerful words in the video below. Maybe they are enough to shake our consciousness free.

After Malcolm X said that 5 years ago Black folks got up off their ass and made sure , Black children knew all of African kingdoms and some culture as well! In the 60s we knew about the Songhay Empire, Mali, Tumbuktu, the Igbo and Ghanian kingdoms, as well as Abbyssinia! and regardless of religion we all knew at least a few of the orisha ! as well as the Kemetic cosmology of Isis Osiris and Horus ! Now if we knew that back in the 60s, before the internet and with not that many millionaires, can you tell me why the hell dont todays youth know that???
