Kerry Washington audaciously defended the controversial scene stating that it is up to the media to deal with issues that affect the society.
The talented actress also said that abortion is a difficult choice that many women have to make despite the society sadly condemning such women for choosing to terminate their pregnancies. According to Kerry Washington, bringing the subject of abortion to the forefront of the media will help in reducing the stigma attached to it.
