The Golden Voiced (ONCE) Homeless Man Ted Williams Is Back On Air!

We all remember the viral hit of the smooth voiced Ted Williams. Can you believe this all happened five years ago!

In 2011 Ted was asking for money at a traffic light intersection when he was found Doral Chenoweth, a videographer for the Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio. His sign mentioned his blessed golden voice and Doral asked him to demonstrate. The recording went viral and the homeless man was adorned with job offers and help.

Since then life has been up and down with relapses and jobs falling through. Some success has followed though and he is now said to be clean, living with his long term girlfriend and a daughter.

And now some great news, he has returned to the place where he first honed his voice.

Ted has his first steady job since 1993 with a daily weekday show on WKVO-AM. This is the station he started with in the 80’s and where he first started to experience his alcohol and drug problems.

We are all behind Ted and hope he keeps going on the right path!

Ted also managed to write a memoir which can be grabbed from Amazon!

And here is the original video (and further report) so you all remember.
