Trump said of Douglass at a recent Black History Month event “Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is getting recognized more and more, I notice.”

Fred was honored by the comments, so much so that he dusted himself off and rose from the dead to open a Twitter account.
