The death of Black Lives Matter activist Marshawn McCarrel II was very heart breaking and unexpected. So for someone to say they loved “a happy end” in reference to his death is beyond disgusting and heartless especially since that person was a police officer. How have people like this infatuated law enforcement?

Well the good news is officer Lee Cyr was fired from the Fairborn Police Department following an investigation. The former officer was so bold as to leave this comment under an article posted on Facebook about Marshawn McCarrel II’s suicide. At least back in the day they were smart enough to stay under their hoods.

To be honest I am surprised he was fired and not allowed to retire with a fat pension, which is not uncommon. A small part of me actually has hope that it is possible to get these unreasonable and irrationally thinking officers out of positions were our lives are literally in their hands. The simple fact that he thought he could leave a comment like that on the Ohio Politics Facebook and there be no repercussions is baffling to me, something lead him to believe this was okay.
