Florida Sheriff: We Have Embraced a Thug Culture in the Black Community

In 2015, Escambia County (FL) Sheriff David Morgan created a YouTube video advising black people on how to behave and letting “blacks” that racism does not exist, because in fact if it did former President Barak Obama would not have been elected twice as President of the United States.

Even after creating this offensive video he was re-elected as Sheriff this past November.

He also wants “blacks” to stop referring to themselves as African Americans. According to Sheriff Morgan we are not from Africa, we are from America and should refer to ourselves as American. He is Welsh and does not refer to himself as Welsh-American. We are continuing to divide ourselves from the rest of the country with this reference. And as he tells us how to refer to ourselves he uses the term Indian American.

I’m so sick of non-black people telling us how to feel, what to call ourselves, and how to perceive the way others treat us. Leave us alone! According to him we have embraced a thug mentality, we kill cops, our men beat women and all we do is curse. What bothers me more is even after this video he was re-elected. I think this video was pretty damn offensive but you be the judge:

A few years ago, back in my high school, the majority of students were affiliated with thug culture. I would sit at my desk and gradually become cynical about the prosperity of our nation because nearly all of my classmates verbally endorsed crimes like robbery, murder, and theft. And the next day I’d sit be back at my desk when a classmate mentions that several other students who were charged with various felony crimes, including grand-theft.

If you were to ask any rational High School student for an honest opinion on the existence of a thug culture, they would very likely agree that there is a thug culture. And it is a destructive culture that perpetuates a deluded worldview among America’s teens, and it has no racial boundaries.
