Children health day was first initiated in 1928 by President “Calvin Coolidge” on 1st May until 1960, when officially the day was celebrated as children health day on every First Monday of October. This day is celebrated in our country as a major step towards children health and recognizing the communities associated with it. On this day we all come together to educate parents and children about different diseases that may occur among children and how to prevent it.
This is the day when all the surgeons take a pledge for the healthy life of children. This is the time when parents are given proper education about the physical activities in which they should indulge their child in to be healthy. This is the time when doctors from different communities comes together and serves as a key pillar for the good health among children.
Child health day will be celebrated in diverse fashion this year. Wellbeing of children is really an integral part of every community, and we will be celebrating it inversely. Our first lady, “Mrs. Michelle Obama” will soon featuring in a children’s popular series. ‘Doc McStuffins’.
The series features and African American animated doctor who wishes to become just like her mother, who is a doctor. From the beginning she is so fascinated by the doctors she always pretend to be a doctor with a stethoscope and fulfill her dream by practicing on her toys and dolls. Her stethoscope is magical and she succeeds to create certain super natural effects while playing with her toys as a doctor including time travelling.
She uses her special stethoscope to bring her toys, dolls and stuffed animals to life, which in turn can interact with her. She is always acts as a veterinarian where she is giving special checkups and doing diagnosis for their illness.
In the featuring episode, Mrs Michelle Obama is inviting group of doctors who are making their mark by serving the community to white house to honor them and where Doc receives a special award by Mrs Michelle Obama as an official “Toy Doctor”.
