After the success of her earlier books I’m a Lovely Little Latina and I’m a Pretty Little Black Girl!, she has authored another book of the tittle I’m A Brilliant Little Black Boy!
In the book, she wants to spark young black boys’ minds.
She highlights moral values while encouraging young black boys to take a step and explore interests that will lead them to success.
In this inspirational book, she co-written it by Joshua B.
Drummond who is 19-year-old son, who was motivated to do work a project on the black cartoon characters on the television.
After being encouraged by the Black cartoon character, she knew that she had to come up with something that would change the mindset of young black people in America.
To date, this new book has received many endorsements by a list of top US celebrities that includes Samuel L. Jackson, Vin Diesel, Michael Ealy, Denzel Washington and Omari Hardwick — who have all submitted their mobile video clips via the book’s social media campaign through the hashtag #Bbrilliant.
This has demonstrated the power of the book in changing the mindset of young black boys.
