Eartha Kitt, TV’s Cat Woman, Spoke Out Against The First Lady, So The CIA Tried To Destroy Her Career!

This story is amazing and just speaks on so many levels. The power of this lady and the strength that she exhibited, especially at the time this all happened is amazing.

Eartha Kitt, Batman’s Cat Woman in the campy 60s show and the singer of “Santa Baby” was very well known in the USA. However when she spoke up in opposition of words from first Lady Ladybird Johnson at a luncheon about innercity violence, and it must be added “made Johnson cry” that was the end of the road as far as the Johnson’s were concerned.

The CIA and the Johnsons blacklisted her from USA work and the press tried to smear her.

Johnson was in European exile (where she did extremely well) for 10 years before returing trumphantly to broadway.

She died aged 81 in 2008 as strong minded and morally pointed as ever.
