A picture of this school teacher started floating around the social media circles this week and we thought it would make an interesting debate for our readers. People are lining up on all sides of this argument questioning the main cause of the debate.
Some believe there is nothing wrong with the woman’s attire and feel she is appropriately dressed for the classroom. They feel the curves of her body might make some people uncomfortable, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with what she is wearing or how it fits. She is a full figured woman and have nothing to hide.
Others feel while the outfit might be an appropriate outfit for some, the snug fit and accent of her curves makes this far too provocative an outfit for a school teacher regardless of the grade level she teachers. Many of these people also feel that if she is teaching middle or high school, then this outfit is beyond unreasonable.
Still another group only feels this dress or outfit is an issue because it is a full figured, black woman. Had this been a less proportioned, white woman, then no one would even care about this outfit. However, since a black woman is at the center of this, it must be wrong.
Personally, I don’t have a problem with the woman’s outfit. While I see (I do have eyes) why some might have an contrary opinion to mine, there is nothing wrong with this woman’s attire. With that type of body and curves, there isn’t anything she could wear that is going to completely hide it all. The woman could wear sweat pants and you could see she has curves.
I’m pretty sure she is well aware of her figure, but at some point we have to stop worrying about what one has on and focus in on the lessons shared.
I am old school. I wouldn’t dress like that in an office either. We are talking about dressing around children. Teachers don’t have to wear baggy clothing by any means but this is just too much, and I would say accross the board to both genders. All opinions are valid
