Cursing Toddler Removed From Home. Mom Says All Children Curse.

By now, I’m sure you have seen the video of the cursing toddler. If not, count yourself among the lucky. The video shows a young toddler being encouraged by adults, to make obscene gestures and curse liberally.

If you haven’t seen the video, we have included it here at the bottom of this article for you. Please be warned, the young toddle is giving the camera “the finger”, saying f-you, and much more. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

What many don’t know though is that the Omaha POA submitted this same tape to the Child Victim Unit to have them investigate and keep such a “cycle” from happening. According to CNN, this young boy, as well as three other children that live in the home with him, have been been removed and taken into protective custody by the Child Victim Unit and Nebraska Child Protective Services. After both the Victim Unit and CPS did an investigation, they found that there were safety concerns for the children in the home that they would need to be completely removed from.

I’m not one to wish anyone lose custody of their children, but this is just ridiculous. Under the guidance of these people, this child was in a world of trouble. Hopefully now that he has been removed from the home, he can be placed in a loving environment that will teach him to be a better person or challenge the parents to get their act together and do better for the child. Although the mom wasn’t directly involved in the video, the environment and people surrounding the child clearly isn’t the best.

However, it seems like the mother of the child hasn’t learned her lesson just yet. This is evident as she has spoken out about the cursing toddler, but not in the apologetic manner you might suspect. In fact, she is rather defiant claiming, “All children curse.” Not the response I was expecting.

She does claim the child doesn’t act like this regularly and was only being coached to speak the profanities. However, after viewing the video, it is difficult believe this was the youngsters first time spewing these words. But truth be told, the video wasn’t the only reason the child was removed from the home. Apparently, the authorities have been involved with this family for a few years now monitoring them and keep up with their case. Seems like the child was removed due to an accumulation of neglect, environment and more, not just the video.

“He had a clean diaper, the house was clean and like they said, kids curse, every kid does it,” the mother told CNN affiliate KETV in an exclusive interview. CNN does not identify juveniles in such stories. The mother is 16.

“He’s a smart little boy. All that cussing that he did, he doesn’t do that,” she said. “Somebody told him to do that. My son doesn’t do that. I don’t allow it.”

She said a friend of her brother filmed the video while she was in another room.

“He was wrong for doing that … posting the video up and getting us into this situation,” she said. “Everybody that thinks I’m a bad mother, I’m not. I’m a good mother to my son. I teach him a lot. He’s very smart.”
