At this point in his life, I don’t know why we are shocked, appalled or surprised, but Charles Barkley has done it again. This time by coming out publicly saying the Ferguson looters are “scumbags”, praising the police officers that work black neighborhoods and he supports the grand jury decision in the Darren Wilson case.
He also called those who rioted after the decision was announced “scumbags,” and said “There is no excuse for people to be out there burning down people’s businesses, burning down police cars.”
Barkley’s positions stand in stark contrast to many in the black community, civil rights leaders and those with basic common sense who feel an injustice took place.

The gesture in the photo more accurately describes Barkley’s position on the black community, our struggle and the life of young, unarmed black teens like Michael Brown. Why don’t he have the guts to just come out and say it?
