Police brutality has been front page news in the wake of unarmed, black men being killed by officers around the country. Many believe the black community has over exaggerated their treatment by law enforcement, but video don’t lie.
An incident in Boynton Beach, Florida has recently surfaced that was caught on video by a man in the back seat of his friends car. They were pulled over for a routine traffic stop when an officer blatantly says “I will put a round in your ass so quick.”
Luckily, one video survived the incident and has been making its rounds through social media.
The black community has been dealing with abusive police power for some time now, so no one inside of the community is shocked by this behavior. However, the fact that these incidences are coming out on camera are great because now they can be discussed in the open.
The black community is obviously frustrated over the continued abuse of power by police officers they encounter. This video demonstrates the aggravation and harassment encountered by many in the black community on a daily basis by the police.
Not everyone is not killed by the weapon of police officers like Mike Brown or John Crawford, put in illegal choke holds and killed like Eric Garner, but many experience the blatant abuse of force by police officers and threats to be shot like in the video captured here.
It is incidences like these that make the Mike Brown Law to force every police officer to wear a body camera and have it on at all times during interactions with the public. Many feel this will force law enforcement to behave along proper, reasonable guidelines instead of continuously abusing their positions in the community.
