Educators and academics in Britain are protesting the contents of a new GCSE course on history which teaches students that Africans were the first group of people to arrive in Britain.
According to the academics and their centuries of bold face lies, this claim is contrary to their story of the English being the first to occupy the British Isles. They say that the only Africans who arrived in the area were in the company of Roman soldiers, which isn’t the case.
According to them, to teach students that Africans arrived before the English is dishonest and that it completely distorts what we’ve learned so far about European history. The interesting part is they have no shame in their distortions and half truths. Haven’t for centuries.
The new course carries the title Migration to Britain and it chronicles the region’s migration history from the year 1000 to the year 2010.
In one of its pages, it was directly stated that Africans arrived in Britain before the English. Roy Strong, a well-known historian and author, said that this claim is not true and that it’s disturbing to think that the claim is going to be taught to students.
However, other historians are exploring the idea that there might be some truth to the claim. According to Professor Mark Ormrod, the claim shouldn’t be dismissed as it is and that additional research should be done to either verify or debunk it.
Isn’t it amazing these British “academics” insist on continuing their “version” of history instead of telling the truth?
What do you think?
