Reports are coming in that several people have been shot in Minneapolis at a peaceful protest for the death of Jamar Clark and Black Lives Matter.

Suspected white supremacists opened fire on the protesters about a block away from the 4th precinct.. The ski mask wearing men have reportedly shot 5 people, their condition is currently unknown. The white men were also said to bew earing bullet proof vests.

Misky Noor, a Black Lives Matter spokeswoman, spoke to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and said:

“A group of white supremacists showed up at the protest, as they have done most nights.”

They were said to open fire when protesters tried to move them on peacefully.

After the shooting some reports (including those form DeRay Mckesson, activist and outspoken advocate for black rights) say that police were pepper spraying protesters and turned up in full riot gear!

Ambulances were also said to have taken 15 minutes to arrive for the wounded.

No fatalities are currently reported.
