Texas police officers pulled over a black woman and her four children at gun point, recently. Shockingly, they admitted the mistake, but refuse to apologize for doing their job. The incident was caught on the police officer’s in-car dashboard camera for the world to experience the horror this mother felt for her life and psyche of her children.

Kenetra Barbour was the mother at the middle of the latest police fiasco when it comes to dealing with the black community. She was pulled over at gun point and ordered to get out of the car. She complied with her hands held high and was handcuffed in front of her children, but was visibly shaken by the entire endeavor, as one would expect.

mom kids gun pointAccording to the officers at the scene, Barbour was pulled over because her car matched the description of a car with four people in it waving a gun out the window. However, the car in question was reported by a witness to be a beige or tan Toyota, but Barbour drives a red Nissan Maxima.

Despite the obvious color difference, the officers pulled over the mom, but didn’t realize they made a serious mistake until the 6 year old son got out of the car with his hands held high.

At that point, the officers lowered their weapons and tried to calm the children, but obviously they were disturbed and will likely have to talk to someone about what they witnessed.

The fact that the police department continues to pretend the officers did nothing wrong and will not issue an apology is insulting. People are outraged over this, as they should be.

Take a few minutes to watch the video provided below. There are segments from the actual event in question, but you can hear the the woman clearly describe the car in question as a “beige, tan Toyota” car. Again, but the police pulled over a red, Nissan instead.

I guess all black people look alike and are criminals so it doesn’t matter so much which one they pull over and blame.
