I believe it was United States Attorney General Eric Holder who told the technical Leader of the Benghazi Inquisition “Good luck with your asparagus.”

(By the way, what Leader Louie Gohmert had meant to say was “aspersions on his character.” It came out ‘asparagus.’)

It was a scene reminiscent of the mess on House of Cards where Frank Underwood (played by actor Kevin Spacey) made Make-Believe Viral Social Media Hell by screwing up his vowels during a live interview with a Teacher’s Union Leader over a strike that had to do with –what else– teacher pay.

The asparagus has circumstantially been chewed and spat out; along with the bone The Inquisition was trying to find meat on when there was none there to find.

As of today, with the capture of Libyan militia leader Ahmed Abu Khattalah, there doesn’t appear to be enough meat left on the bone of their so-called Benghazi investigation to even season that asparagus.

Review for those who haven’t found a need to pay attention to this:

• On September 11, 2012, eleven years to the day that the United States of America was attacked by what was later determined to be “Arab terrorists” from Iraq (more to that story than met the eye), an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, ended in the deaths of four U.S. citizens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, both Navy Seals; Sean Smith, a computer expert; and U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
• Two integral points of contention on the Benghazi attacks included either the failure of the Obama Administration to properly perceive and prepare for these attacks; or that there was competent information available to have avoided the attacks and the superior officers in charge at the time downplayed the warnings, i.e., didn’t take them seriously. Enough.
• Since these 2012 attacks, the poisoned darts were aimed at the Obama Administration for downplaying “radical Islamism,” and for giving overt credit to the Arab Spring and to the Muslim Brotherhood for their ‘spirit of cooperation’ during tumultuous times. [President Obama’s stance is actually that no entire religion or race of people should be attacked for the sins and errors of a few, but that means absolutely nothing to the same types of folks who actually believe that the most violent criminals in America are Black. BUT, back to the point at hand…]
• On October 10, 2012, reputable sources reported that there was no doubt whatsoever that the Republican Party, in their true “cut everything that doesn’t enrich old rich white guys” mode, cut funding to the Benghazi Consulate, even after being requested by the Obama Administration for more funds for security concerns.
• Most recently, officials of the Obama Administration, mainly former presidential contender and (now former) Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as Holder, have been interrogated –911-point-by-911-point– and in true typical “cut-n-paste” fashion, over the perceived failures in Benghazi that fall decisively back into the laps of the Republican Party.
• Nearly every Talking Point of 9112001 has been Elmer-glued to the Benghazi investigation of 9112012, and one would only be inclined to believe that if they had a legitimate reason to investigate, they’d have at least come up with their own talking points.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One thing can be said of Barack Obama, he’s not a quick one to start humongous over-bloated highly expensive and meaningless wars over every perceived slight against the United States.

• SQUAWK! They said something we don’t cotton to here in the good ol’ US of A! WE don’t like the way they look or talk! GO TO WAR!
• BAWK! We told them to do something and they wouldn’t do what we want them to do when we want them to do it the way we want them to do it! GO TO WAR!!
• AWK! AWK! They don’t like us and our “freedoms,” they’re jealous of America! We don’t have a democracy, but they should have one because what we say goes whether that other country likes it or not! GO TO WAR!!!

However, this GO TO WAR! mentality wraps itself neatly into Obama’s recent decision to send just under 300 more troops back into Iraq to “provide support and security for U.S. personnel and the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad” in the wake of territorial gains made by the jihadist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS)“.

This news from Obama to return so many troops to Iraq must come with deviant glee to folks whose only mandate in life seems to demand that a WAR be started every single time something goes wrong; and it’s typically the same folks who won’t send their own children into a war that they will quickly sign off on for the children of others.

Don’t get it twisted. It’s been going on so long, the only way out of it is for the Second Advent of Christ to actually happen. [Storm Clouds Gathering]

Considering what actually happened in Iraq, as opposed to what they SAID happened in Iraq, and their vengeful desire to ‘hit back’ at Obama and his staff on the very same things that they themselves were chastised over in 2001, it should come as no surprise whatsoever to any American citizen who has refused to “red white and blue” the truth about 911 (2001) if the hand of the ‘purveyors of justice’ are found driving the bomb trucks behind the Benghazi attacks.

This peculiar brand of alleged American patriotism leaves no room for compromise or question about what they are capable of doing, or why.

If the GOP willfully and with malice aforethought allows American citizens to languish and die in their own country (unemployment, education, infrastructure, alternative energy, and healthcare comes immediately to mind), then the driving force behind WMDs and attack machine propaganda and constant turmoil in other countries, like those in the Middle East, in Libya and Cairo, as well as several nations in Africa, the Sudan and Nigeria included, AND BENGHAZI, should be an easy underhanded preemptive strike for them.

Let’s say it all together, one more time for old times’ sake: YOU DON’T NEED TO SET OFF BOMBS AND KILL THE CHILDREN OF INNOCENT PERSONS TO CATCH A MOUSE WHEN A MOUSETRAP WILL DO THE JOB.
