Brazilian journalist Weudson Ribeiro’s awesome project spontaneously documenting the beauty of the Afro-Brazillian woman has been ongoing now for more than two years and has produced some amazing portraits.
This month he has released a hoto essay called “Superafro: O poder da mulher negra” which translates “Superafro: BLACK GIRL POWER.”
And the results are stunning!
The series was put together to help promote a surge of Afro-Brazilian pride in Brazil where being black seems to come with many similar issues of being black in the USA.
